One of the reasons I prefer to work alone is because I can get lost in thought, and I frequently think nonstop. Most people these days distract themselves just so that they will not have to think, because otherwise they will be forced to have to face themselves and reality. Thinking expands the mind. Generally, my quietness is a result of having nothing to say and/or to contribute to a conversation.
