Do Not Neglect Gathering Together

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing." Hebrews 10:24-25

Hebrews 10:25 only means that Christians should meet together regularly (specifically for encouragement and spurring on to good deeds)—not that the meeting together has to be convenient for large numbers, or that it has to be in a building designated for that purpose.

The government is not causing us to ignore the preaching of the Gospel by their unlawful restrictions. You do realize that many countries do not allow you to build such buildings (which should not exist in the first place; Jesus did not give His Bride a temple to worship in because we are that temple)? Believers in these countries do the same as in Scripture and meet from house to house. "Traditional" does not equal "biblical". Your experience of "church" does not translate to the biblical standard. Your creed, confession, catechism, constitution, statement of faith, system of theology, etc., must be filtered through the Bible—not the other way around. The Bible must be your absolute authority!

If Paul taught the same things in every congregation (assembly; gathering), then why is there such a huge disconnect between what we read in the Scripture and what we have experienced in our various denominations?

If you bother to look into this, you will discover that these departures began with the Early Church Fathers. Let's look at a few:

• The "fellowship" was "the breaking of bread." They came together over a full meal. How'd we get to tiny cups and wafers/crackers/pieces of bread, etc.? The meal was the focal point of their gathering; not a sermon.
• Baptism was done immediately on the spot (not by immersion; circumstantial evidence obliterates this imposition upon Scripture from an eisegetical reading of Romans 6:3-4), regardless of whether their profession was genuine of false. Why? Because baptism, like circumcision, is a sign/seal of being in covenant with God; it is a witness/testimony for or against us. The Early Fathers created longer and longer delays as well as ridiculous reasons as to why it should be postponed, such as whether or not you were married.
• Membership required only one thing: the indwelling Holy Spirit. This has changed over the centuries to the point where joining a "church" (a building, which is often nothing more than a corporation) is like joining a club. Jump through these hoops, agree to this nonsense, and you are in.

Stop ripping random, isolated verses of Scripture out of their immediate context and forcing your ideological beliefs and subjective experiences upon them! You are to conform yourself and your beliefs entirely to the Word of God. The Bible never conforms to you or your perverse desires!

Do You Think It Is Okay For Christians To Be Cremated?

The reason I ask is because years ago I heard Christians discussing it and condemning cremation. Their reason? Jesus would not be able to "rapture" you. Putting the unbiblical doctrine of the "Rapture" aside, there are several flaws with these people's thinking. How many Christians were burned alive for their beliefs? Are you honestly trying to tell me that these extremely devout Christians will not be in heaven simply because someone burned their bodies to nothing? How many Christians were blown to bits and pieces in modern wars? Are you honestly trying to tell me that these Christians will not be in heaven because their bodies were in pieces and much of them could not be found? What about Christians who lost limbs? Do you honestly think they will be resurrected and still be missing those limbs?

Clearly your biblical understanding is limited and extremely askew. Jesus created your body from the dust, and if to dust you returned (as the body does when it rots), He can certainly re-create your resurrected body (which He will have to do anyway since your body will not exist after decades and centuries).

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

Yes, our body is a temple, but I am afraid many Christians lack proper understanding of this verse and, like many others, rip it out of context to force it to mean whatever their wicked heart desires it to mean in the moment. If our body is a temple, what does that mean if a mortar shell explodes beside us and rips our body to shreds? Are we any less a temple of the Holy Spirit? "Oh no! Johnny got blown to bits and pieces by a nuke! Guess he's not indwelled by the Holy Spirit anymore. We won't be seeing him in Heaven."

Who says cremation is a "pagan" practice? Pagans buried bodies, too, especially certain types of burials that we seem to mimic. Maybe cremation was the new practice because they needed to preserve land since burial takes up so much space. If you take every graveyard across the world and put them together, how much space does that eat up? Maybe cremation was the new practice to thwart plagues and the like (especially when they did not bury them 6 ft deep). If Christians died from plagues, and their bodies had to be burned so that others would not get infected from it, does that mean that person is lost to history and will not be resurrected and in Heaven?

If from dust we came and to dust we will return, does it actually matter how we return to dust? Something to think about.

Who or What Are "the Rest"?

"But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord... But to the rest I say, not the Lord..." 1 Corinthians 7:10-16

Who or what are "the rest"? Does anybody actually know? If verses 10-11 are addressing the married, then "the rest" would logically mean anyone who is not married, right? But verses 12-16 continue speaking about husbands and wives. So what is meant by "to the rest"?

Paul just forbid divorce for married people in verses 10-11. So who are being addressed in verses 12-16 if not the married? If it is not talking to the married, then you really cannot claim that it is talking about an exception for divorce, can you? You could not do so anyway since verses 10-11 just prohibited it. Since Paul does not have a forked tongue and does not speak out both sides of his mouth, he quite obviously did not prohibit divorce in verses 10-11 and then give an exception in verses 12-16. Since the words in verses 10-11 are a direct command from the Lord Jesus, Paul certainly did not just turn around and willfully contradict His Lord and Saviour.

"The rest" could only refer to single people and widowers/widows, right? But then the rest of the passage is problematic since it goes on to speak of husbands and wives, which single people and widowers/widows do not have. The fact this passage continues speaking about husbands and wives is evidence that "to the rest" cannot possibly mean someone other than the married.

There is no group of people that what was said in verses 10-11 does not apply. If you are married, verses 10-11 apply. Verses 12-16 let us know that if we are married to an unbeliever and they are content to live with us, then we should continue to live with them. They may end up saved through us. If they want to leave, then we should let them leave so that there may be peace. If we try to force them to stay, our lives will be like the problematic spouse we read of in the book of Proverbs. This passage nowhere gives occasion to re-marry. If our spouse later becomes saved and wants to reconcile with us, how will they be able to do so if we are married to someone else?

People can try to rationalize their sin all they want, but God's Word is exceptionally clear. We do not want to accept it or obey it because we are rebellious and hard hearted, just as the Jews were. But the Lord Jesus calls us to a higher standard. We are called to be imitators of Him. If marriage is a picture of the Gospel, which it is, and if it is a picture of Jesus and His Bride, which it is, then do you honestly believe Jesus would allow for something that will deliberately mar that picture? Or would Jesus call us to something hard but extremely beneficial for our sanctification? I think you know the answer.

"To the rest" obviously and clearly cannot be referring to another group different from "to the married" because it continues addressing husbands and wives, who are "the married." "To the rest" more than likely means either as to the other part of your epistle, or as to the cases of the rest mentioned in your epistle. Based on the context of verses 12-16, we may infer that verses 10-11 are speaking to husbands and wives who are both believers. Then verses 12-16 address husbands and wives where one is yet an unbeliever.

In verse 25, Paul says, "Now concerning virgins," and then in verses 27-28 adds, "Are you bond to a wife? Do not seek to be released. Are you released from a wife? Do not seek a wife. But if you marry, you have not sinned. And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned." There are three types of people mentioned in these two verses: the married, the widowers/widows, and the virgins.

How do we know that those who are "released" are widowers/widows? Because Romans 7:2-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:39 are extremely clear.

"For the married woman has been bound by law to her husband while he is living, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband. So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulterous. But if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man." Romans 7:2-3

"A wife is bound as long as her husband lives; but if her husband has fallen asleep, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 7:39

People can try to explain these verses away all they want, or try to ignore them, but there is no mistaking what is being said. Romans 7:3 agrees with everything Jesus said in Matthew, Mark, and Luke; namely that re-marriage, except in the case of a dead spouse, constitutes adultery. The only way you are "released from a wife" is if she has died. Scripture provides no other legitimate release from the marriage covenant. Not in Matthew 5:32 or 19:9, and not in 1 Corinthians 7:15. Anyone who tells you any different is lying, whether ignorantly or deliberately; their teaching is in error.

The Two Doors Riddle

In the movie The Labyrinth, Jennifer Connelly's character, Sarah, encounters two doors while attempting to rescue her little brother from the clutches of Jareth, a crystal-ball-juggling Goblin King. One leads to the castle, the other to certain death. She may ask only one question to only one guard in order to help her decipher which door is the correct one. Sounds simple enough, but there is a catch: one guard always tells the truth, and one always tells lies.

To solve the puzzle, you must ask one guard (it does not matter which one) which door the other guard would say leads out. Both guards will indicate the same door, which will be the door that does not lead out. Let's call the doors A (the safe door) and B (the unsafe door).

Scenario one:

The guard you ask is the one who lies. – If the guard you asked is the one who lies, then he will lead you astray by telling you (falsely) that the other guard (the truthful guard) will point you towards door B. This makes door A the safe bet.

Scenario two:

The guard you asked is the one who tells the truth. – If the guard you ask is the one who tells the truth, he will tell you (honestly) that the other guard (the lying guard) will point you towards door B. This makes door A the safe bet.

In both cases, the outcome is the same. To stay alive, you must walk through the opposite door you have been told.

The point of my sharing this is to point out the current temperature of the Western world right now. I'll give you three examples. (1.) All news media outlets call each other "Fake News." Certain ones are telling the truth while others are lying. (2.) Concerning this COVID hysteria, certain doctors, scientists and experts are telling the truth while other doctors, scientists and experts are lying. (3.) Various people are calling other people racists, fascists, anti-science, etc., etc., etc. Certain ones are telling the truth while others are lying, projecting what is actually true of themselves upon their opponents.

The situation with the above three examples is the same as facing the two doors. You may not be able to ask a single question in order to determine which is which, but with a little intelligence, wisdom, and discernment, you should be able to figure it out. If you cannot, then you might want to consider that you are probably one of the stupid people that Dietrich Bonhoeffer refers to (see previous post). If you want to believe lies in order to make yourself feel comfortable in life, then best of luck to you.

Stupid Is As Stupid Does

The following excerpt comes from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, taken from a circular letter, addressing many topics, written to three friends and co-workers in the conspiracy against Hitler, on the tenth anniversary of Hitler’s accession to the chancellorship of Germany:

"Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed- in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self-satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

"If we want to know how to get the better of stupidity, we must seek to understand its nature. This much is certain, that it is in essence not an intellectual defect but a human one. There are human beings who are of remarkably agile intellect yet stupid, and others who are intellectually quite dull yet anything but stupid. We discover this to our surprise in particular situations. The impression one gains is not so much that stupidity is a congenital defect, but that, under certain circumstances, people are made stupid or that they allow this to happen to them. We note further that people who have isolated themselves from others or who live in solitude manifest this defect less frequently than individuals or groups of people inclined or condemned to sociability. And so it would seem that stupidity is perhaps less a psychological than a sociological problem. It is a particular form of the impact of historical circumstances on human beings, a psychological concomitant of certain external conditions. Upon closer observation, it becomes apparent that every strong upsurge of power in the public sphere, be it of a political or of a religious nature, infects a large part of humankind with stupidity. It would even seem that this is virtually a sociological-psychological law. The power of the one needs the stupidity of the other. The process at work here is not that particular human capacities, for instance, the intellect, suddenly atrophy or fail. Instead, it seems that under the overwhelming impact of rising power, humans are deprived of their inner independence, and, more or less consciously, give up establishing an autonomous position toward the emerging circumstances. The fact that the stupid person is often stubborn must not blind us to the fact that he is not independent. In conversation with him, one virtually feels that one is dealing not at all with a person, but with slogans, catchwords and the like that have taken possession of him. He is under a spell, blinded, misused, and abused in his very being. Having thus become a mindless tool, the stupid person will also be capable of any evil and at the same time incapable of seeing that it is evil. This is where the danger of diabolical misuse lurks, for it is this that can once and for all destroy human beings.

"Yet at this very point it becomes quite clear that only an act of liberation, not instruction, can overcome stupidity. Here we must come to terms with the fact that in most cases a genuine internal liberation becomes possible only when external liberation has preceded it. Until then we must abandon all attempts to convince the stupid person. This state of affairs explains why in such circumstances our attempts to know what ‘the people’ really think are in vain and why, under these circumstances, this question is so irrelevant for the person who is thinking and acting responsibly. The word of the Bible that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom declares that the internal liberation of human beings to live the responsible life before God is the only genuine way to overcome stupidity.

"But these thoughts about stupidity also offer consolation in that they utterly forbid us to consider the majority of people to be stupid in every circumstance. It really will depend on whether those in power expect more from people’s stupidity than from their inner independence and wisdom."

Stupidity is not an intellectual defect but a moral one. As Bonhoeffer points out, "There are human beings who are of remarkably agile intellect yet stupid, and others who are intellectually quite dull yet anything but stupid." The stupidity we are witnessing among Millennials, Snowflakes, Social Justice Warriors, and Liberals/Progressives is due mostly to their moral bankruptcy. They have no moral compass. They deny science and nature and claim there are more than two genders/sexes. They deny reality and think men can be women and women can be men. They lie to themselves daily and demand that the majority aid them in their lies by placating to their delusions. This stupidity cannot be reasoned with because it rejects reason as “bigoted.” These stupid individuals are more dangerous than any Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, etc. Evil we can fight against. Against stupidity we are defenceless.

Social Justice Warrior Snowflakes are engaged in the Oppression Olympics (also known as Victimology Poker), a competition of victimhood using identity politics and intersectionality ("I am a Queer Fat Muslim Disabled Transgendered Black Feminist"). These anti-intellectual know-nothing half-wit useful idiots exhibit a form of Collective Munchausen Syndrome (a psychiatric disorder where an individual feigns a medical condition to garner sympathy).

They also exhibit Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome: "This disorder causes a person to reject realities that are otherwise as clear as the existence of gravity. Sufferers of Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome do not believe their lying eyes. They construct an alternate reality known as Unicornia. In such a world, science, reason, rules of causality, evidentiary thresholds, a near-infinite amount of data, data analytic procedures, inferential statistics, the epistemological rules inherent to the scientific method, rules of logic, historical patterns, daily patterns, and common sense are all rejected. Instead, the delusional ramblings of an Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome sufferer are rooted in illusory correlations, non-existent causal links, and feel-good progressive platitudes. Ostrich Logic is always delivered via an air of haughty moral superiority."

These hive-mind drones need an echo chamber in order to feel validated and to validate their obviously blatant stupidity. They are triggered by empirical statements and label them as "bigoted." Opposing viewpoints constitute a form of "violence" from which these fragile little creatures require protection. These losers are nothing more than a pack of wild dogs who will turn on their less pure members in an instant. They always need someone to fight, even if it is from within their own ranks.

Because of the truth I write about marriage, family, sexuality, gender, etc., these keyboard vigilante clowns attempt to threaten me with their idle threats "and I just LOLOLOLOL emojis for days." They attempt to call me a "culture vulture," which is just another ignorant made up term to go along with "anti-vaxx," "homophobe," "transphobe," "Islamophobe," etc. I am so sorry that you are choked and I am not. Your mental psychosis and delusional fantasies will not dictate my life and worldview. Perhaps you should be locked inside a padded room where you can talk to pink unicorns and pretend you are a fictional manga character as much as you want.

Social Justice Warrior Snowflakes are a walking talking virus of intellectual dishonesty and intellectual sterility, regularly committing moral and intellectual suicide. They are the sad commentary on, and an indictment to, the human race. They are literally walking punch lines.

I am just saying what the silent majority are afraid to say for fear of the ignorant labels these pathetic clowns will attempt to label them. They can toss whatever imaginary labels they want to come up with at me, "but words will never hurt me." If I say it, I mean it; I will not back down from declaring the truth, regardless of whether anyone wants to hear it or not. It does nobody no good to placate to their delusions and be complicit with their lies.

People who are academically accomplished believe that their academic achievement removes them from susceptibility to media brainwash and propaganda when, historically, the opposite is true; they are the most susceptible. Behind every human atrocity was an academic institution that was convinced of its own virtue.

Experts, or "experts," are not immune from poor judgment and faulty reasoning. Professor Gad Saad once visited a physician because he was suffering recurring bouts of bronchitis. As he sat in his office, the physician was chain smoking. Gad asked him if he thought it was a good idea while treating an asthmatic patient suffering from bronchitis. The physician laughed it off.

We are seeing this kind of poor judgment and faulty reasoning on a monumental scale right now. Doctors and nurses are injecting people with these experimental mRNA gene therapy medical devices falsely called "vaccines" (in order to sneak them under Public Health exemptions), and when the patient comes back with an injury, the doctors and nurses are denying it and saying that it has nothing to do with the "vaccine" (effectively gaslighting these people).

What happened to doctors and nurses who asked for a history? Who asked what changed in your diet recently? Who asked what changed in your life recently? The only thing to have changed in these people's lives is having been injected, but magically the things happening to them have nothing to do with that. This is Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome at its finest, committed by our "experts." Having credentials does not mean you have credibility.

When "Follow the science!" and “Trust the science!” meets “You cannot question the science!", science has met religion. The science is never "settled." Questioning science is science. That is the whole point of the scientific method. People should be able to reproduce your work to verify the results. There is zero "science" connected with these injections!

You can continue to be an anti-science science denying clown, calling long-established evidence-based scientific data "conspiracy theory," or you can face the facts and accept that your immune system is far superior — better, stronger, and longer lasting — than anything a legitimate vaccine has to offer.

The World Has Gone Mad

When you have the chief reporter on the beat of COVID for The New York Times talking about how questioning or pursuing the question of the lab leak is "racist," the world has gone mad.

When people believe a "vaccine" is effective at protecting you, but the rest of the world needs to get it too in order for yours to work, the world has gone mad.

When long established evidence-based science is ignored, denied, and rejected by science denying anti-science clowns who keep yelling, "Follow the science," the world has gone mad.

When the superiority of your immune system is ignored, denied, and rejected, claiming some injection will "help boost" it, when that has never been the case in the past, the world has gone mad.

When doctors no longer ask for a history - what changed in your diet or life, and claim that your injuries cannot possibly be due to the COVID injections (despite being the only thing different in your life), the world has gone mad.

When you ask Covidian Jonestown Kool-aid-guzzling Cult members simple logical questions and the blank look on their face suggests "Cannot Compute. Computing Error," the world has gone mad.

When certain doctors, scientists and experts in their fields are doing their jobs and presenting evidence-based scientific data, and being silenced, ignored, smeared, and attacked, while other doctors, scientists and experts in their fields are doing no work at all but merely spewing ignorant subjective opinion, and being gobbled up without question, the world has gone mad.

When you are not able to say out loud and in public that there are differences between men and women, the world has gone mad.

When you are not able to say out loud and in public that a man is not and will never be a woman and that a woman is not and will never be a man, the world has gone mad.

When you are not able to say out loud and in public that a human being is not and will never be some other species, or some fictional character, the world has gone mad.

When we are not allowed to acknowledge that silence is not violence, but violence is violence, the world has gone mad.

When, in the name of "progress," young school children as young as kindergarten are being separated in public schools because of their ethnicity, and that is called "progress" rather than segregation, the world has gone mad.

When you are not allowed to have intellectual dialogues, discussions, debates, and disagreements, because some Snowflake's feelings might get hurt, the world has gone mad.

When we care more about some sad Snowflake's perceived feelings than we do about actual truth, the world has gone mad.

When the criteria for hiring someone is based on a minority status rather than qualifications, merit, and individuality, the world has gone mad.

The Hired Hands Exposed

"He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees—and the wolf snatches and scatters them—because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep." John 10:12-13

Say what you will about pastor Henry Hildebrandt of the Church of God in Aylmer, Ontario. While he teaches some extremely unbiblical doctrines, he is nonetheless one of the only pastors in the area (and one out of a handful across the entire country) who exhibited actually possessing a spine. Every other pastor knuckled under like the hired hands they truly are. The wolves came for the church, and these cowards abandoned the sheep and ran away. The Gestapo came, kicked in the door, told them they could not gather, and they said, "Sure thing, Bob! We'll disperse immediately!" I thought these "pastors" read their Bibles? Do they not understand anything concerning the Body and how each member needs the other members? Even John MacArthur stood his ground and fought the State of California on their authoritarian dictates.

You can attempt to defend your pastors all you want, but you are 100% in the wrong and they are shameful cowards. They did not stand up for the church, and they did not teach the church how to stand up for themselves. Instead, they shouted loud and clear, "This is not how to lead God's people!" Over 90% of the pastors across the face of the Earth all at the same time gave up on the church all because their governments told them to do so! The church shut up shop over propagandized fear porn just like the rest of the world. Not only were they not there for their own people, but they were not there for the unsaved. This just illustrates how much of a business that "churches" have become. They do not care about people's souls. Christians of the past worked in and through plagues to help people and reach people, even putting their own lives on the line because of the seriousness of the spiritual. How many did that today in the 21st century? A mere handful! Disgusting! Grotesque!

The only thing worse than this are those pastors who are willfully handing the sheep over to the wolves, encouraging people to get jabbed with these experimental bio-weapon injections and to risk both their health and lives—all while twisting Scripture to try and manipulate them. The false teachers are coming out of the wood work and revealing who and what they really are. Satan has infiltrated God's church and put his own ministers in key positions in order to mislead the sheep and let the wolves devour them.

By the way, this entire situation perfectly exhibits precisely why we should still be meeting in houses precisely as prescribed in the New Testament; precisely as most the rest of the world continues to meet to this day. No one—not one single denomination—was given the authority to change the traditions that the apostles instituted. The early church fathers did not have the authority to change any of the traditions instituted by the apostles. Our practices are so far removed from that of the New Testament that it is not the least bit amusing. There is a reason Paul says that he teaches the same thing in all the churches. The government cannot shut down a house church. They can threaten it. They can invade it (like Russians and Chinese do). They can persecute it. But that is all they can do to it. These pastors abandoning the church to meet online adds another indictment against the ownership and operational costs of a building that never should have existed in the first place. Jesus did not institute a priestly caste or a temple for His church, and neither did the apostles. We are that temple, and we are all priests!

Zombies and Trolls

Only zombies, trolls, and NPC losers reply TL;DR to factual information they refuse to read in order to be educated and informed as to the truth. They want to deny certain things, but when given information that will refute them once and for all, they are too lazy and ignorant to bother reading it. They do not want to be proven wrong, and they want even less to admit they are wrong.

The zombies, trolls, and NPCs never argue the main point; they never have a legitimate refutation; and they never have an intelligent counterargument. All the zombies and trolls ever do is respond with fallacious arguments that have no basis in reality, deflection, projection, ad hominem, and name calling.

Those Who Oppose the Word of God While Pretending To Be the Friends of God

Here’s a tip: When someone accuses a truth-teller of arrogance, it’s because they can find no fault in the truth itself.

Yet, what many of us have been saying over the weekend is that it has nothing to do with how MacArthur said it. It’s what he said. These gutless wonder coward-pastors are just afraid to say they’ve gone the way of the United Methodists and other estrogen-fueled quilting circles.

You see, it wasn’t really about how MacArthur said it. It’s that he said it. The reason why so many complain about how he said it (which was super polite) is that they are afraid to just come out of the egalitarian closet and say, “I’m for women preachers, oppose the Word of God, and deny Biblical inerrancy.”

Trying to get them to just come out and admit they deny the inerrancy of Scripture is like pulling teeth, but they will always first complain about tone. It’s easier than just straight-forwardly stating their position.

It is easier for emotionally lactating males to lament “tone” than to stand up like men and simply state their real positions. When it comes to defending their position, they are just far more comfortable squatting than standing.

I could not put my finger on it until I read these words from an article published by Pulpit & Pen. I have had a few people accuse me of being "abrasive" with my writing. I have addressed this idea before (here and here), but now I have a clearer understanding of why these individuals were doing what they did. Rather than address the content of what I wrote, because they cannot answer the truth of what I wrote, their first complaint was the perceived "tone" of my writing. These individuals did not like what I had to say, but because they could find no fault with the truth I was sharing they decided to attack the messenger instead.

The above words used by Pulpit & Pen are exactly true of these individuals: "gutless wonder cowards," "estrogen-fueled," "closet-egalitarians," "emotionally lactating men," and "more comfortable squatting than standing." Of course these individuals would be offended by such language because the truth hurts.

These individuals are more concerned with their image and/or the image of their "church," than they are with the truth of God's Word. They would sooner water down the truth and make it palatable than to do anything or allow anything that might tarnish their image or affect their reputation. These individuals and their "churches" are narcissistic. God forbid they should actually take a stand behind the Bible and elevate it to a position of sole authority instead of continuing to filter it through their belief system. These same individuals oppose the Word of God and deny biblical inerrancy, but they would never admit it.

Anything else is easier than admitting the truth. You will witness this quite often among professing Christians from various denominations. Whatever biblical truth they choose to reject, rather than admit they oppose the Word of God and deny biblical inerrancy, they will find some other means of attacking the truth they willfully choose to reject and rebel against. It is easier to play these childish games than to come out and admit they are in favour of some sin or other, or some error or other, or some heresy or other. For many of these people, despite the words that might come out of their mouths, the Bible is not their absolute, sole, and final authority. Something else is!

But they do not want to admit it to themselves or to others.
