Is the Bible Scientifically Accurate? Part 5

Continued from last...

DINOSAURS AND HUMANS:
The book of Job is considered to be the oldest book of the Bible. 4,000 years ago, it recorded these words:
"Behold now, Behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass like an ox.  Behold now, his strength in his loins, And his power in the muscles of his belly. He bends his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are tubes of bronze; His limbs are like bars of iron. He is the first of the ways of God; Let his maker bring near his sword. Surely the mountains bring him food, And all the beasts of the field play there. Under the lotus plants he lies down, In the covert of the reeds and the marsh. The lotus plants cover him with shade; The willows of the brook surround him. If a river rages, he is not alarmed; He is confident, though the Jordan rushes to his mouth. Can anyone capture him when he is on watch, With barbs can anyone pierce his nose?" Job 40:15-24

"Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? Can you put a rope in his nose? Or pierce his jaw with a hook? I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame. ... Who can strip off his outer armor? Who can come within his double mail? Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth there is terror. His strong scales are his pride, Shut up as with a tight seal. One is so near to another, That no air can come between them. They are joined one to another; They clasp each other and cannot be separated. His sneezes flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning torches; Sparks of fire leap forth. Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth, As from a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes forth from his mouth. In his neck lodges strength, And dismay leaps before him. The folds of his flesh are joined together, Firm on him and immovable. His heart is as hard as a stone; Even as hard as a lower millstone. When he raises himself up, the mighty fear; Because of the crashing they are bewildered. The sword that reaches him cannot avail; Nor the spear, the dart, or the javelin. He regards iron as straw, Bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee; Slingstones are turned into stubble for him. Clubs are regarded as stubble; He laughs at the rattling of the javelin. His underparts are like sharp potsherds; He spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire. He makes the depths boil like a pot; He makes the sea like a jar of ointment. Behind him he makes a wake to shine; One would think the deep to be gray-haired. Nothing on earth is like him, One made without fear. He looks on everything that is high; He is king over all the sons of pride." Job 41:1-2, 12-33
As you read those descriptions of Behemoth and Leviathan, remember that modern science claims that we have only known of the existence of dinosaurs for a couple centuries. These descriptions not only reveal that the Bible was aware of "dinosaurs", but also that they co-existed with humanity. Evolution claims that dinosaurs were long extinct (65 million years ago) by the time man, and most mammals, came on the scene. Prior to the 1800's, when the word "dinosaur" was invented, men had another name for these fierce creatures: dragons. If dinosaurs and man did not live together, how could God possibly tell Job to "Behold now, Behemoth", meaning "Look at him!"?

In the bed of the Paluxy River, near Glen Rose, Texas, two sets of strange tracks have been found. Though highly contested as to their nature, it appears as if human footprints cross those of a dinosaurs. The human tracks are found in the same bedding as those of the dinosaur. You might ask, "How could tracks last so long?" This is what is called "ephemeral markings", where normally temporary markings in sand, such as bird tracks or water ripples, are actually found in rock. Such markings can only occur when the sand is rapidly converted to sedimentary rock as it is subjected to incredibly high pressure as brought about by tremendous amounts of water. This must occur over a very short duration of time; mere moments. These tracks argue that humans and dinosaurs co-existed at one point in time.

Nearly 80% of the Earth's surface rock is sedimentary, a great argument for a global deluge of catastrophic proportions at some point in the past—Noah's flood.

Every now and then, a colossal discovery occurs that creates vast problems for the evolutionists. This is precisely the case with a bunch of figurines that were discovered in Acambaro, Mexico in 1945. These figurines have been dated back to circa 2500 B.C. There were some 33,000 sculptures unearthed, hundreds of which appear to be dinosaurs.

In 1950, paleontologists stuck a skull on a skeletal structure that was found some 400 miles away and called it Brontosaurus. In 1978, after a complete skeleton (including the skull) was found in Nebraska, scientists realized that they had placed the wrong head on this dinosaur. Consequently, they had to admit that there never was such a creature as Brontosaurus and have since replaced it with Apatosaurus. What is truly astounding is that the Acambaro Tribe got the dimensions correct thousands of years before we did in 1978.

Look at the two figurines below. The first is Iguanodon, the second Ankylosaurus. In the 1800's, Iguanodon was poorly rendered. If you look at modern renderings, you will notice how much they reflect the accuracy found in this figurine. Obviously these people knew how an Iguanodon looked in real life. This argues that those who made these figurines were eye-witnesses to the actual creature!

What is the best explanation for hundreds of life-like depictions of these dinosaurs (supposedly long extinct and not discovered unto the 1800's)? These people, who lived 2500 years ago, saw them!

The Nasca Indians lived in the river valley of Peru's south coast from roughly 200 B.C. to 600 A.D. They are most likely best known for the famous Nasca Plain, an area measuring 37 miles long and 1 mile wide. Here, strange geometric patterns of immense size have been cut into the plain. (See Photos Here) Extremely telling, however, is that much of Nasca Tomb art seems to be depicting dinosaurs. Whether tapestry or pottery, art can be found depicting dinosaurs such as Allosaurus, Dipodocus, Pterosaurs, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and even Tyrannosaurus. Check out the images below:

What is even more fascinating is that Sauropod frills, such as seen on the Diplodocus in the above image (middle), were not found until 1992. Yet, they were being drawn correctly 2,000 years earlier by the Nasca Indians! This argues strongly that those who made these pieces of art were eye-witnesses to the dinosaurs, contrary to what Evolutionists tell us.

Also, Native American art found in the American southwest seems to depict dinosaurs in cave art and rock drawings.
