Sinners are responsible to repent, believe, and come to Christ. Yet, at the same time, they are unable to repent, believe, and come to Christ.
There are 0 verses in Scripture that say a sinner can come to Christ. All verses attempted to be quoted invite or command the sinner to repent, believe, or come to Christ, but 0 say they can!
Salvation comes from God. It is the result of grace. It has nothing to do with you! A dead man lying at the bottom of the ocean floor cannot reach up to grab a life preserver. Life must be breathed into him before he can do so, and he will do so because he can do nothing else.
